 | Blackjack13 Way back before video games were at their current state, there was a little handheld game machine, looking much like a tv remote, named Merlin. Merlin could play about 9 different games, Blackjack 13 among them. This is a semi-faithful reproduction of that game.
The object of the game is simple. It follows the rules of blackjack, except instead of 21, your max is 13. Try and get exactly 13, or get less and hope the computer goes over. The one detail with this game is, once a number has been assigned, it doesn't get assigned to anyone else. For example, if you get the 8, there is no way the computer will also get the 8 in the same hand.
Make sense? It's a relic, yes, but an addictive little game nonetheless. And it moves at a pace quick enough that it can be enjoyed while waiting in line at the movies, or riding the bus. Enjoy.
